Designed to make things simpler for both park owners and those looking to buy a home or book a holiday, a new system is set to offer an easy and cost-effective booking solution. Bella Brodie reports

As well as helping to get your park seen by as many customers as possible, the easy-to-use management system brings together all elements of park promotion, bookings and sales into one place.

For holiday makers
Holiday makers using the website can now search through the 3,930 plus parks, selecting their ideal location based on a range of criteria, find available accommodation for their chosen dates and then book, all without having to visit multiple, external sites.

New interface
Most parks in the UK are automatically listed on Your Parks, and once a park owner or manager has claimed their park they can add an unlimited number of rental accommodation units or holiday homes for sale. The home page is simple to navigate with six options to choose from; Book a holiday, buy a holiday home, sell a holiday home, residential park information, and manage your park.

Tailor your selection according to your requirements when searching for a property, or you can sign-up for regular newsletters – then if the home of your dreams is added on a listed park you’ll be first to hear about it!

Create a park account
There’s a brand new private user section on the website which acts as an easy interface for parks to keep their information up-to-date with, and that area also makes it really easy to check up on bookings if needed as a standalone booking tool, although it’s also designed to integrate with many other booking and CRM systems.

Listings can be brought to life with additional images and video, and park owners can easily select which optional extras they want to include and set pricing for them. The system is designed to help parks increase sales, bookings and revenue, while still having the time to concentrate on keeping their customers happy.

Step 1
Create and account and claim your park, or add it if it’s not already there. Update the information so your free listing will work harder for you! You can add details about the location and facilities, upload photos and detail availability of holiday units available for sale, or residential homes for sale. As there is no cost to this whatsoever, park owners are being encouraged to do this regardless of whether they wish to proceed to take step 2 and take advantage of the new booking system available.

Step 2
To make use of the easy online booking system contact Your Parks to find out more and they’ll talk you through the process so you can benefit as quickly as possible. There’s no cost at outset and there are no hidden costs, creating a clear win/win situation, and the cost is a very competitive five per cent of the total break cost received.

You can customise accommodation available, choosing from optional extras such as cots, towels and bed linen.

The new system allows payment in full or by instalments, with card details being securely processed through the site’s fully compliant payment system, removing potential administrative headaches for the park owner, too. It is also simple to set variable prices for selected date ranges and to implement discounts, for example for customers staying more than a set number of nights; these can be either a fixed price discount of a percentage of the total cost.

From your account you can quickly update details, manage reservations and view statistics. It is also possible to use the owner account area to add bookings manually if needed. Additional functionality, will allow park owners to integrate the Your Park booking system with any other booking or CRM systems that the park may already be using, making it even easier to avoid double bookings and to manage data without having to update any existing systems. It’s all designed to be a slick, trouble-free option to managing the holiday bookings process for parks!
