Highlighting the Brexit-proof nature of the UK’s holiday park industry, specialist estate agents Savills, on behalf of Carr Royd Parks Ltd, has sold Sunset Park Holiday Village and Hambleton Country Park in Lancashire to a park operator. The properties were marketed with a guide price of £5.5 million.

Sunset Park Holiday Village and Hambleton Country Park comprise of a five-star holiday park alongside an established residential park. The park accommodates 94 residential park homes and 121 holiday static caravans and lodges.

The recently refurbished ‘The Puddled Duck’ clubhouse provides a coffee bar, restaurant, club area and games room and is used by the wider community. Nine miles from Blackpool, the site is also close to the Forest of Bowland and the Lake District.
