New Model Review: The Butterfly Gold

Andrew Jenkinson runs the rule over an exciting home from industry newcomers Red Rose Park Homes, the 33ft x 22 Butterfly Gold.
It seems that life never stands still at Red Rose Park Homes with husband and wife duo Violet and James Welch purposefully leading the company onto ever greater heights.
Red Rose’s factory is operating at full pelt right now, with orders coming through thick and fast. The Lancashire-based outfit specialises in refurbishing and building special bespoke mobile homes.
Sneak preview
PH&HC was permitted a sneak peek at a few new Red Rose homes being launched at the upcoming The Lawns Show – put it this way, we can’t wait to see them finished! Look out for more on that in next month’s issue in our show review.
So, having only seen the odd Red Rose model on a park (the company hasn’t been around long enough yet!) we were keen to check out one sited at Greenacres Park, a Lincolnshire site owned by the Willet family.
Greenacres is a developing park situated on the outskirts of the lovely town of Horncastle – a place that boasts all the essential amenities including a good few independent shops, as well as some well-known supermarkets.
The park’s roads were all due to be relaid a week after our visit, as site owner Ben Willet informed us. Greenacres is only a small park, but one that occupies a prime location. The park has begun to take on Red Rose homes and the site owners are sure to be taking more of the company’s homes over the coming months.
Ben had just recently had a new Butterfly Gold delivered to the park on one of the new plots he has available. A 33ft x 22 home, the two bedroom layout would be ideal for a retired couple.
It boasts a superb front lounge and dining area, and the exterior is all contemporary charm and elegance. Sited on Greenacres, it certainly looked an attractive home with its nicely landscaped surroundings.
Like all other Red Rose park homes, the Butterfly Gold is built to exceed the British standard BS: 3632 (2015) and also comes with a ten-year Gold Shield guarantee for peace of mind.
The homes are also National Caravan Council (NCC)-approved, plus the customer can work with Violet and James to create a bespoke design to exactly fit their individual tastes. The customer can choose their own soft furnishings and furniture to make it a more personal home to them.
