After another successful World of Park & Leisure Homes Show this June, specialist insurance broker Parksure revealed the winners of its annual show competition. We learn more…

Two Gloucestershire park home residents have scooped £100-worth of shopping vouchers after winning an insurance broker’s annual Stoneleigh Show competition.

Mother-and-son Bev and Mark Nicholls, of Cotswold Grange Park, in Twyning, were ‘ecstatic’ after learning they had won £100 worth of shopping vouchers.

Pictured above receiving their prize with Parksure administrator Barb Edginton (far right), Bev and Mark were all smiles. Bev said: ‘The vouchers will help add bits and pieces to our new park home and couldn’t have come at a better time! I’ve just retired too, so I’m going to enjoy my new home so much more now.’

For Parksure, 2022’s Stoneleigh Show – which made a welcome return to our calendars in June after the coronavirus pandemic – represented its tenth year at the event. After an impressive decade of meeting new and existing customers and catching up with trade at Stoneleigh, the Parksure team are old hands when it comes to this event. Indeed, enjoying a free Parksure cupcake has now become a much anticipated part of the show experience! Parksure’s director,  Matt Cass, who attended the show every day with one of his colleagues, said: ‘After what feels like an age, thanks to Covid-19, we finally returned to Stoneleigh!

‘We had a great time, seeing many old faces, including existing clients and parks that we insure.

‘We even made some new friends – some of them canine as fresh water was always available for our furry friends – and the cupcakes went down well, as always.

‘We received good feedback about the advice we offer on our online YouTube channel too. Take a look, if you haven’t already and don’t forget to subscribe!

‘We had lots of quote requests – some have already placed cover with us – and enquiries about the our boiler breakdown cover (included, as standard, under our park home/mobile home cover).

‘Being able to talk to parks again meant that some are going to recommend us to their clients after we’ve been able to explain more about our cover with them. And that’s what it’s all about for us – catching up with existing clients, answering questions and queries for potential customers and connecting with as many trade representatives as possible so we can improve our service.

‘Overall, it was another brilliant and worthwhile show, as it always is at Stoneleigh.

‘We can’t wait for next year’s event!’
