The owners of St Merryn Holiday Village in Cornwall had a nice pre-Christmas gift, with the sale of their park by specialist agent Savills, from a guide price of £2.95 million.

Located 2.5 miles from Padstow, the mature holiday village is set in 24.7 acres (10 hectares) and comprises 100 park homes and 205 bungalows. There is permission to develop a further 29 park homes and seven, two storey holiday homes. A reception building, a restaurant and bar are also included on the site alongside tennis courts and a children’s play area.

It is unusual that a park of this size comes to the market, and its potential for further development made it an attractive asset.’
