Park home owners are happy with their lifestyle choice because of the community, the tranquillity and the quality of their properties, according to new research by Sell My Group.

In response to the BBC1 Panorama documentary The Mobile Home Swindle, which aired on 11 March, park industry portal Sell My Group, conducted an online poll of 253 residential park homeowners to gauge the satisfaction levels within the community.

Sense of community
The question was: ‘In light of recent publicity, if you own a residential park home, are you happy with it and why?’
An overwhelming 85 per cent of respondents stated that they were happy with their park home, citing reasons such as the sense of community, the peaceful environment, and the quality of life afforded by their homes. This data contrasts sharply with the negative portrayal of the industry in the BBC documentary. While it is essential to address and rectify the issues where they exist, Sell My Group believes that the positive aspects of park home life should not be overshadowed.
Sell My Group remains committed to supporting both park home owners and prospective buyers by providing accurate, transparent, and helpful information.

High standards
Director Justin Allitt said ‘We continue to work closely with park owners and industry bodies to ensure high standards are maintained and that the dream of owning a park home remains a positive reality for the majority.’
