Park Holidays UK is making waves for holiday home owners this spring by sinking more than £5m into modern new swimming pool complexes at three of its top-rated parks.

The splash is part of an even wider development programme across most of the group’s 26 holiday parks in southern England, aimed at creating world-class leisure opportunities.

But despite the scale of the investment, says Park Holidays UK, the owners of holiday caravans and lodges on its parks won’t have to pay a single penny to enjoy the new facilities.

At Seawick Holiday Park in Clacton, the curtain has already been lifted on a new £3m complex boasting a pool and high-tech entertainment centre.

Similar developments will shortly be ready to open at Birchington Vale Holiday Park, near Margate, in Kent, and at Harts Holiday Park, overlooking Kent’s famous Isle of Sheppey. Meanwhile, other parks in the group have also seen ambitious refurbishments and additions to their leisure facilities which will benefit owners this year.

Demand for new and pre-owned holiday homes is currently being fuelled by one of the largest pre-season sales it has ever staged, says Park Holidays UK.
