A residential model with a welcoming interior design theme and a practical layout, the Lamport is one of two models from Tingdene Homes that are offered to prospective purchasers at a fixed rate on parks to help simplify the buying process…
Tingdene Homes has been pretty active over the past few months and, despite the nationwide coronavirus lockdown, its new releases have kept on coming in the form of two exciting new 40ft x 20 models – the Lamport and the Brampton.
Tingdene Homes teamed up with more than 70 UK parks to assign the Lamport and Brampton a ‘turnkey’ price of £119,950, sited and ready for occupation on park.
This is a direct response to feedback from customers explaining that they’d like to understand the pricing structure better as, generally, the costs of homes and lodges can vary from park to park.
This straightforward approach has been embraced by the parks taking part in the offer, allowing customers to choose from a variety of locations around the UK, safe in the knowledge that the cost of the home will remain the same, potentially making the buying process even quicker and easier.
The Lamport – internal appointment
The Lamport’s interior has an emphasis on soft pastel shades, with wallpapered and painted walls in a very pretty pink also echoed in the window dressing and soft furnishings. Those soothing shades act as a backdrop for some of the other visually impactive elements in this design. Contemporary furnishings work well with the dressing here – great use of grey tones contrasted with impactive monochrome frames and explosions of colour delivered through the wall art and soft furnishings. The living areas have a vaulted ceiling with inset spot lighting, and that’s tongue-and-groove effect throughout. Internal doors are finished in white for a clean feel, with hand painted skirting, architraves, sills and coving, and chrome handles – all very modern, crisp and easy to keep clean.
External appointment
Externally, the Lamport has a traditional look with smooth Mapei render carrying a ten-year warranty. Horizontal cladding over the front door entrance frames it nicely, and that’s finished with an apex canopy from above and lighting. The front door has a glass ‘peep out’ panel handy which is a nice security and privacy feature although many of the parks this will be sited on will be safe and secure anyway. The back door is glazed in three panels.
