Wyldecrest Parks, one of largest park home operators in the UK, are moving into Cornwall.
Chairman Alfie Best, who owns 41 residential and holiday parks, has snapped up six parks in the St Austell, Helston and Bodmin areas.
‘I’m delighted to be at least moving into Cornwall – it is such a beautiful county and the parks are spectacular,’ he said.
‘We have had a very warm reception from the residents and I hope these purchases are the first of many.’
Entrepreneur Alfie,43, paid an undisclosed fee for the new parks which are located in Sticker, Otterham, Dunmere, Bodmin, Helston, and Trelowth.
He has already employed a new sales area manager and there could be more job opportunities for further staff in the future.
Wyldecrest is based in West Thurrock, Essex, but has area sales managers and staff all over the UK, and has been on an expansion drive over the past 12 months.
It has recently acquired Port Haverigg Marina Village in the beautiful Lake District and has begun a modernisation programme to bring the park up to its former glory. And in March, Gattington Park near Coningsby, Lincoln was opened with 36 new plots.
Wyldecrest are selling the first two homes for just £99,995.
