It’s not just refurb outfits that are featured in our directory though. You can view our guide as a one-stop shop for all specialist park home services. There are insurers who really understand park home matters, finance options, legal advisors, decking and veranda companies, national residents’ groups and much more.

A final thought on our directory: while the industry’s suppliers and services may not always grab the headlines, in this magazine and elsewhere, they are the vital cogs that keep things going. There wouldn’t be so many fabulous UK parks that are a credit to our unique community if it wasn’t for these unsung heroes. I, for one, am only too happy to celebrate their work in 2016’s opening issue!

Away from the directory, there’s lots to get excited about in your January edition. We’ve got a new column and columnist, for starters. Please take the time to read park home and holiday caravan expert Andrew Jenkinson’s maiden missive on page six. Andrew looks back through the midsts of time at how things have changed in this industry over the decades and ponders the myriad improvements in that time.

Finally, don’t miss our special focus on the best parks in the north-west of England (see page 52). Ahead of this month’s Caravan & Motorhome Show at Manchester’s Event City, which takes place from 21 to 24 January, we profile some of the region’s premier residential and holiday options. Enjoy the issue!
