‘My own family have a history of racing and my son Hamish McAllister is in the process of raising sponsorship to compete in 2015 Formula Ford Championships. I was proud and humbled to be part of and support such an initiative. I would urge any company to support our war heroes in this way and I look forward to next year’s event.’
The day had begun with a Remembrance Service and the event has already been hailed as a success; it is likely to become part of the Remembrance and racing calendar.
