blogWe’ve got a great selection of parks from all around the country in another bumper issue this month! Don’t despair if Father Christmas left you off his list this year – our first two issues of 2014 have weighed in at 164 pages and 180 pages apiece. Fine compensation for those in need of some New Year’s cheer!

Our intrepid panel of park home experts have been as busy as ever this month. We visit eight blue riband residential parks in Powys, Devon, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Sussex and Ceredigion.

Our Norfolk search takes in parks in Thetford and Watton in an attempt to unearth the perfect park for a pair of retirees who want to enjoy their retirement in a relaxed community setting. Turn to page 21 to see how they fared.

We’re also paying a final tribute to the best parks from last year’s hotly contested Park of the Year competition. This month, we honour the worthy runners-up. On the podium are a trio of parks from across the UK: all three are very different, but all three are equally deserving of some recognition. They are extremely well-managed and the community spirit in evidence is a joy to behold! Our feature on page 30 reveals more details about the parks.

It’s not just parks though – we’ve also got two brand new homes under review. There’s the all-new Omar Accent (page 38), a stunning lodge home that’s already attracting a lot of attention. Then there’s the new Tingdene Addington (page 44), a marvellous residential model that’s both innovative and affordable in equal measure.

Finally, I’d like to mark your card about the second part of our unmissable Holiday Parks Guide, which boasts holiday parks listings for Cornwall, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. See page 51. Enjoy!
