Martin Leppard, a former director of Holidaybreak (where he was one of the MBO team in 1989) and MD of International Life Leisure Group (where he led an MBI in 2001) is investing in Cambrian and is joining the business as executive chairman. He was also chairman of South Lakeland Parks while it was owned by LGV Capital.

Richard Davies, former financial controller at Ultraframe has joined as operations and finance director, while existing national accounts manager Helen Scott completes the management team, becoming sales director.

Martin Leppard, chairman of Cambrian commented, ‘Cambrian has a strong product offering and a well-established UK brand for quality holiday lodges.

‘With more people choosing to holiday in the UK and the increased popularity of staycations, it is the right time to expand the business into new parks and regions across the UK.

‘We look forward to expanding the sales team and rolling out new designs and models over the next few years.

‘The Skylantern, which we exhibited at The Lawns Show, is just a recent example of the kind of innovative design Cambrian is renowned for. We have many parks who already purchase lodges regularly from Cambrian, and we look forward to working further with them, and to selling to new customers who appreciate the high quality of our products and customer service.

‘The market is currently strong and we expect to increase our sales as the market grows.’
