The Classic has already been a best-seller for Wessex. That’s not surprising as it has gone down a storm with parks buying to accommodate all tastes, yet within a sensible price bracket. The lodge exudes class and elegance, and could easily be personalised further with a few colourful touches by any owner, although it really doesn’t need it and would probably look better as it is.
Although fairly understated and unfussy, the colours are really rather gorgeous, as well as being classic with a touch of countryside charm to them. Each room you enter simply pleases visually because they have a ‘clean and clear’ vibe – great for those who really want to unwind rather than have their senses stimulated by a bright and busy decor.
The layouts help deliver that relaxing ambience too with plenty of floor space. There’s not one spot in this model that could possibly make you feel claustrophobic.
Little touches such as chrome sockets and switches, and oak veneer doors with polished chrome handles just add to that feeling of quality throughout.The real strength of this lodge are the smooth and simple lines in the interior design.
Make no mistake, that requires a great build team behind it to make it work as well as it has done here.
With the exception of curtaining to the windows to the front of the lounge, the windows are dressed mainly with blinds: just one of the little design touches that contribute to the home’s stunning overall look and feel.
