The Regency

From the outside the Regency looks anything but ‘economy’ as it has two bay windows at the front, Georgian bar glazing to all windows and doors and decorative corner quoins and brick slips under the side windows.

There is a roof dormer above the main entrance and a lintel and pilasters giving the effect of a grand entrance. Frankly, we thought this was an unnecessary embellishment – but some people may like it.

The main entrance door has a glazed top panel and chrome door furniture including a letter box. A porch light is wall-mounted at the side. The door opens into a carpeted hall with a door on the left into the dining area.
