Sitting proudly in prime position on the park, the Suffolk Barn packs quite a punch visually, in a good way, and this model is really very spacious too, built on a 45’ x 22’ footprint.
Black feather edge timber cladding combines well here with several sections of a natural wooden finish. With frames, doors and trim also in gale grey it really does have bags of visual appeal externally.
Inside it’s just as much a bold statement lodge as it is outside, packed throughout with individual touches of luxury and character.
Inside the living areas are very large and airy, with an open-plan living area and a really rustic countryside feel.
Natural colours easy on the eye are used throughout the lodge, which has vaulted ceilings throughout, and they blend marvellously as you move from one room to the next. The two most dominant colours are probably duck egg blue – appropriate perhaps for a Barn, and a calming sage green. Oak and black touches and finishes in fixtures, fittings and window dressings throughout add masses of impact, particularly in a couple of spots such as the lounge and fireplace.
