That’s why the incredible amount of options offered both in the Homseeker range of homes, and in individual models, is so great. There are opportunities for purchasers to ‘down-spec’ or ‘up-spec’ a model they have chosen, or to choose one that is less or more expensive. The Affinity is described as an ‘entry-level’ home, but that description certainly doesn’t imply that compromises have been made in comfort, furnishing or equipment levels. The 36ft x 20 version reviewed here has a fairly standard layout with lounge and dining room at the front, with a door at the back of the dining area into the kitchen. From the main entrance, the hall bends round to the right to give access to the family bathroom and two double bedrooms, one with en suite shower facilities.
Exterior
Despite its ‘entry-level’ description, there is nothing boring about the outside of this model. There are two splay bay windows on the front wall and Homeseeker has followed a current trend among park home manufacturers to mix stucco and Canexel on the exterior to achieve a very pleasing result. The Canexel finish is used for the gable ends at the front and above the main entrance. Windows are framed in white uPVC with Georgian bar effect at the top and plain glass in the bottom. Many of them are very deep, making the interior of the Affinity light and airy.
The main entrance is inset along the side wall, under a stylish feature gable, providing an integral porch and the front door is in a brown finish with obscure glass panels at the top too.
