We have had the pleasure of welcoming back our holiday home owners, plus a number of regular touring visitors as well as many new ones. Amongst those who have stayed were a couple with a beautiful boat, sleeping in the boat on site and spending the rest of their holiday on the River Thames! We were also greeted by a fantastic sight of colourful VW campers stopping over on their return from a festival. Continuing the classic theme a 35 year old car and caravan from the Netherlands also graced our presence.
The park has remained lovely and green throughout the season, a testament to the amount of rain at the beginning of the year, and our wildlife continues to flourish. Various events have brought visitors to Folkestone during the summer; including The Folkestone Air Show, The War & Peace Revival, the opening of the Commemorative Arch by Prince Harry and the Folkestone Triennial which amongst other things currently has people digging for small gold ingots buried on the beach!!
