The stunning Wessex Seafronters at Hoburne Naish make the most of the amazing panoramic views from their frontline position

Bella Brodie visits Hoburne Naish Holiday Park in Hampshire

When it comes to outstanding locations, I’ve seen quite a few. So when I come across a park that stuns me with its brilliant location and offering, I have to shout about it.

In May I nipped to the south coast of England to explore Hoburne Holidays’ flagship park in Hampshire, Hoburne Naish. Those familiar with the geography of the south coast will know that there are some majestic landscapes on that stretch, and this park is perfectly situated to enjoy views of them. So much so, that my jaw dropped when I reached the front line where they have superlodges available for ownership.

The park has direct access to the beach with uninterrupted views to the left across the end of the Solent to The Needles on the Isle of Wight, and to the right, you can see Mudeford, Hengistbury Head Beach, and beyond that the land curves round to Sandbanks, Studland and Swanage, so you’re then into Jurassic Coastline territory. So, as beautiful beaches go, several top hot spots are on the doorstep here.

At Mudeford Quay, you can cross by foot ferry to Mudeford Sandbank and Hengistbury Head beaches

At Mudeford Quay, you can explore Smuggler’s haunts or cross to Mudeford Sandbank by foot ferry,  towards Hengistbury Head beach, where rows and rows of pretty, pastel coloured beach huts have turned this stretch into one of the most photographed beaches in Britain.

That said, there are so many places to visit from Hoburne Naish that you would be totally spoilt for choice with such rich treasures on the doorstep.

ABOUT THE PARK

Having never stayed in a Hoburne park before, I enjoyed the ambience at Hoburne Naish, and it was lovely to see that its roots as a family-owned and run park group have ensured such an uplifting feel to the park.  The facilities are excellent, with indoor and outdoor pools, the former heated with a children’s splash pool. There’s a fitness suite, sauna and steam room, convenience store, outdoor play area and much more here, so all generations will have plenty to enjoy.  There were great little touches such as the help yourself outdoor fresh produce areas, the reception team being particularly friendly and welcoming and my lodge was immaculately clean for our short stay. That said, they have a number of coastal and countryside parks to choose from and we are told that their programme of continuous investment ensures that they are all working to the same high standard.

The restaurant on site at Hoburne Naish is The Coast House eatery, and it has recently been beautifully refurbished.  The atmosphere was great, and the quality of the food really outstanding too. After dinner we wound down to some relaxing live music, and everything was just so chilled that I felt I could stay on this park and just not go home, if they let me!

ULTIMATE HOLIDAY HOMES ON THIS PARK

It’s this park that is home to a fleet of absolutely stunning Wessex Seafronter Lodges, supplied by the Omar Group. They team up with a number of key parks and park groups around the UK to supply a range of outstanding holiday homes and lodges for potential holiday home owners to buy, and this is a great example of that manufacturer and park relationship working brilliantly, with a steady supply arriving exactly as needed.

Built to make the most of terrific views

Here at Hoburne Naish there are models from a range of manufacturers including all three of the Omar Group’s brands; holiday homes from Regal, lodges from Omar including their gorgeous Alderney, and the bespoke Wessex Seafronter superlodges which have already been popular with buyers.

Speaking about their relationship Gary Gough, Group Business Support Manager at Hoburne said; “Omar offers outstanding customer service, which is why they have been selected as a Hoburne Approved Supplier. Like Hoburne, Omar believes  that the manufacturer and park operator relationship is a partnership built on trust and mutual respect. We create these partnerships with a long-term vision, and with Omar’s design, innovation, customer and aftersales service, we are confident in this partnership for many years to come.”

Omar’s Group Chief Executive Graeme Craig said’ “It’s a joy to work with Hoburne as we can see how the developments translate in terms of customer satisfaction and return on investment. The Seafronters are leading-edge, and we have built every luxury into them to ensure they are thoroughly enjoyed by their owners.”

Set on the front line of the park looking out at those marvellous views, the Seafronters are specifically designed to make the most of them, with full glazing to the front elevation including two sets of bi-fold doors, creating a picture window effect.

The layout also lends itself to extending that living space, and the park has added dual-level decking doing exactly that, so Seafronter owners can enjoy their outside space and those views as much as possible.

A choice of outdoor furnishings is available, from loungers and dining areas to barbeque zones, hot tubs and sunbather seating. Each lodge even has it’s own EV vehicle charging point.

While these exclusive and rather exceptional lodges have a solid price tag, it’s easy to see why, as location and lodge combinations of this calibre are like gold dust.

With a little time they’ll be gone, and the lucky owners acting first will be glad they snapped them up.

One is even available for hire, and quite rightly pulling in a phenomenal weekly figure, so that’s also a thought for anyone looking for a high-end investment superlodge.

A MESMERISING SIGHT

The sight of all these Seafronters along the front line is quite mesmerising as they have such a great architectural feel, but there is also luxury inside with a master bedroom served by a large en-suite bathroom with slipper bath at one end and a double, walk-in shower with twin showerheads at the other.

The second bedroom is a twin, served by a bathroom with P-shaped bath and overhead shower.

There are further boutique versions on their way to Hoburne Naish, and maybe, just maybe, I might need to go back to have a look at those when they arrive.

It’s such a tough job, but my hand is already hovering over the booking engine for a return visit to see those – this park is amazing, and so are the lodges!
