A wide gable above the main entrance at the side is very distinctive, and the main entrance door is inset to form a deep porch – and this porch is ‘edged’ so that it resembles pillars or a portico.

There are two bay windows on this entrance side, and one on the front wall. On the other side of the Woodland there are French doors leading from the lounge (optional extras), and this would be a nice place for a deck to be added, depending on where the home is sited. The white uPVC windows and doors were fitted with Georgian bar double glazing, but Queen Anne leading is also available.

Main entrance

Little space is ‘wasted’ on a hall. From the entrance, there is a radiator on the left, just to one side of the door to the dining area. Straight ahead is an airing cupboard and as the hall bends to the right, doors left and right lead to the master bedroom and family bathroom respectively, while the one at the end of the hall gives access to the second bedroom.
