Big spenderHoliday park operator Park Holidays UK has authorised a £750,000 spend on improvement projects at its recently acquired Broadland Sands Holiday Park in Corton, Suffolk.

The investment will see the seaside park, located between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, benefit from a raft of major upgrades including those of its guest facilities.

On the work schedule is a top-to-toe reconfiguration of the park’s central holiday complex where a new state-of-the-art entertainment venue will be created at its heart.

The holiday complex also plays host to Broadland Sands’ restaurants, bars, guest reception and a convenience store – all of which will be completely remodelled and refitted. In addition, a brand new suite will be created where holiday home owners, and those thinking of buying, can meet and talk over coffee with the park’s sales staff, seven days a week.

The green light for the projects was given shortly after Park Holidays UK acquired the business at the end of 2014, and work is scheduled for completion by Easter.

Tony Clish, director of Park Holidays UK, enthused, ‘The facilities at Broadland Sands were already of a very good standard, but as a company we are committed to keeping our holiday parks one step ahead of the competition.’
