Ibraheem Dulmeer is a legal advisor working for LEASE and we caught up with him to chat about the organisation and how it plans to extend its reach, with the aid of technology such as Skype calls over the internet and speaker phone calls to mobile phones, where a short presentation may be delivered to a group who can also ask questions, without the cost in time and money to travel.
We started by asking Ibraheem how things have been going since LEASE started work in the park home community? He explained, ‘During 2014 we spoke to more than 2,800 people face-to-face including both park home residents and park site owners. We travel all over England (our remit doesn’t include Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, where the legislation governing park homes is slightly different), meeting park home residents, residents’ committees, park owners and local authority officials.’
