Prestige delivers a seriously tempting uplift to an already popular model. Bella Brodie reports…

The Prestige Sofia is a residential model that has a really distinct look. It has benefited from a considerable refresh, bringing it more in line with Prestige’s current design style.

Plenty of personality
This uplift hasn’t diluted the Sofia’s core identity, but it feels classier and less likely to date than its predecessors. One of the key elements to this home is the light.

With full-height ‘cathedral style’ windows and vaulted ceilings, light floods into the living spaces. This is tempered by full length, quality drapes in the lounge, and oak-effect furniture and worktops for warmth and balance, making it feel wonderfully cosy, even on colder days.

The design is calming, but with plenty of interest, and this is a model that needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate, as the medley of textures, tones, light and depth throughout is yet another example of finely tuned design skill from Prestige.

Particularly appealing
We should perhaps flag up that the 45ft x 20 footprint may be particularly appealing to buyers, as it incorporates both a utility room and study; both key features that could clinch the deal with buyers, although we can also see that smaller versions would feel more spacious than many similarly pitched models thanks to the light and fresh theme to the interior design.

Our verdict
So, the Sofia is a classy residential model that makes a great show home target for parks.

Externally, it packs plenty of punch with feature CanExel cladding and that striking glazing to the front, so it also has solid kerb appeal.
We could imagine a row of Sofias creating a classy and distinctive look on new residential developments and for any park with plots on elevated positions with a view, this model would work particularly well. This update brings the Sofia firmly back into contention as a hot target for buyers, and we think it will do well at the mid-market price point.
