Bella Brodie reports on a unique new layout for a popular model from Regal Leisure Homes…

Regal recently refreshed its entire range with some fantastic new designs, and the last of the set to be revealed was the Hemsworth, which was on show at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show in Birmingham in February.

The design team have definitely worked their magic on Regal’s homes, making sure the designs are stunning yet diverse, with something exciting for all budgets and buying profiles.

The Hemsworth is a real departure from anything that could be described as a standard layout, as it sports a brand new kitchen layout that we think is unique to the industry. Carefully priced as a mid-range option, it’s available in a range of two- and three-bedroom versions, including a centre- lounge option.

BEAUTIFUL EXTERIOR
Externally, the Hemsworth is clad in Champagne aluminium as standard, with white uPVC double glazing and French doors to the front. Further options available include CanExel or vinyl cladding and anthracite windows.

Internally, the striking, contemporary design theme has a completely fresh feel, with solid blocks of colour in the feature wall in a cool teal colour, contrasted with warm, dusky pink hues in the soft furnishing.

There’s a minimum ceiling height of 7ft vaulted ceilings throughout, making it feel particularly spacious and light.

Upon entry, a bench seat with coat hooks over has storage above and below, and it leads into the kitchen/diner.

This is arranged to maximise the potential storage, surface area, flow of movement and floor space. This unique layout has purposefully allowed space for domestic-sized kitchen units, a freestanding dining table and four chairs.

This is a well-equipped model with plenty of space for everything you’d need for either a short or longer-term break. Integrated appliances include a fridge-freezer and microwave, oven and four burner hob with built-in cooker hood as standard, with enough space for a slimline dishwasher and washer/dryer as optional extras. The contemporary room divider remains as a key feature of the Hemsworth visually, and it’s a handy place to drop personalised touches such as plants, ornaments and photos.

KEY FEATURE
In the lounge, a key feature is the TV and storage unit with a striking vertical timber strip feature, ensuring that the most is made of space by hosting the screen on the wall in cinematic style.

This leaves the floor space free, making the Hemsworth feel much bigger than most contemporary holiday homes.

The freestanding L-shaped sofa is opposite, with a pull-out occasional bed built in as a useful feature.

The master bedroom is gorgeous with further striking feature walls, contrasting impact headboard and king-sized bed with drop pendant lighting either side.

In addition to the bookcase, bedside cabinets, dressing table and stool against another feature wall, there’s a further walk-in-wardrobe offering extensive storage space through a door to the left of the bed. The additional bedroom(s) match, and all come complete with TV point and USB sockets as standard. The bold colour scheme really adds kick to the twin bedroom

visually as shown here. The en suite to the master and main bathroom both feature a stylish, contemporary wash-handbasin with mixer tap, WC, storage cabinets and a fully enclosed shower with sliding glass door.

OUR VERDICT
The team at Regal have really done an amazing job this year, and the Hemsworth completes a truly brilliant set of homes. Visually appealing, innovative and eye-catching, they are stand-out models in the marketplace.

This striking model is designed to impress, and we can see it would have equal appeal for ownership or for a luxurious short stay holiday let. What a cracker!
