Quietly confident, classy and chic, the Wessex Contemporary is a delight to the eye and a popular choice with buyers.
Since its re-launch in 2014, this model has sold well, maintaining its position as one of the leaders in the modern-day luxury lodge stakes, packed full of charm and character.
That individual character, coupled with clean lines and tasteful décor, is synonymous with the Wessex brand, and a perfect example of lodge design at its best. So why then do I call it quietly confident? Well, the outside certainly has kerb appeal and plenty of it, but somehow it doesn’t really fully prepare you for the rather exceptional interior, nor could it completely, or it would remove the element of surprise which is so important to the buyer.
Its latest version was uncovered at the World of Park and Leisure Homes Show, where it was as popular as ever, and a bit of a ‘must visit’ lodge for those who knew there would be a treat in store.
The Wessex Contemporary is a lodge to fall in love with.
One of the pleasures of this job, when I’m out and about at shows, is chatting to readers who are looking for a lodge and hearing their expressions as they walk into particular models. The Contemporary is a model that always delivers from that perspective, and that really does make me smile.
I’ve seen and heard several couples walk in and fall completely and utterly in love with it, and more than one of those I’ve heard say words to the effect of ‘let’s stop looking, this is it’. It’s a gut feeling you don’t get with many lodges, but it seems to kick in hard with the Wessex Contemporary.
It’s that kind of lodge, the sort many would connect with straight away, and once you’ve got past all the visual highs and look at the quality and how it’s kitted out you won’t be disappointed either. This is a real benchmark lodge for luxury and once you’ve looked at it you won’t want to settle for less.
Of course, everybody has different tastes and that’s what makes life so interesting, but it’s hard to see how anyone wouldn’t appreciate the Contemporary and want to spend time in it – either as an owner or to enjoy a break in at of the UK’s best parks.
