Last month we took a look at Tingdene Homes’ new turnkey residential model, so this time around we thought we’d also review its pretty leisure counterpart, the Brampton

Two brand new 40ft x 20 models, the Lamport and the Brampton, were unveiled by Tingdene Homes after the manufacturer consulted with more than 70 UK residential and holiday parks to provide ‘turnkey’ solutions priced at £119,950, sited and ready for occupation on a park. This was a response to confusion from those looking for a lodge or residential home who found the changes in price structure across the UK a bit confusing as they are normally variable from park to park.

This innovative and straightforward approach was embraced by the parks taking part in the offer, allowing customers to choose from a variety of locations around the UK in the knowledge that the cost of the home would remain the same for the 40ft x 20 models, potentially making the buying process quicker and easier for them.

External appointment
The Brampton would sit well on any park, with an apex over an inset porch, CanExel cladding in ‘Sierra’, a three-panelled glazed front door and French doors to the lounge with angled glazing above.

Internal appointment
With a vaulted ceiling throughout, you can expect a light and uplifting feel from the Brampton, yet it also feels grounded and balanced.

Tongue-and-groove effect ceilings are in white, as are the doors, skirting sills and coving – all hand painted.
The colour scheme is noticeably calming in natural shades, with painted and papered feature walls adding real flourishes of style to the Brampton.

The flooring is warm and practical, and the clever introduction of copper shades adds to the rustic, bistro feel almost subliminally.

Accommodation
The layout is very simple although it feels quite luxurious: a living area spanning the width of the lodge incorporating the lounge, dining and kitchen areas; a family bathroom; two twin bedded rooms; and a double master bedroom with a walk-through wardrobe, leading to an en-suite shower room.
