New Model Review: The Light House

Pathfinder is undoubtedly in just as innovative and creative mode as ever, and visiting the company’s showground recently, we saw some truly superb homes on show, including the brand new Light House.
Like many Pathfinder models, the Light House is available either as a residential park home or lodge, although it’s shown here as the residential version
This model is really very different, and it’s wonderful to see something so fresh and uplifting hit the market place. No compromise has been made on the quality of this home, and yet, with clever engineering, smart planning and product selection, this is a perfectly pitched entry level home available at an extremely competitive price. This 40 x 20 model hosts a whole range of luxuries you wouldn’t normally expect to find at entry level, and there’s plenty of built-in ‘wow’ factor which could well make it a magnet for potential buyers too!
External features
This two-bedroomed home boasts an impressive exterior with a feature entrance, white stipple render with CanExel feature panels and dark grey window frames throughout. There are a few clues to the internal layout from the outside too, not only in that deeply recessed apex above the entrance but also within the deep overhangs on the roof where the patio doors are slightly inset on one side.
This is matched at the other end of the home in the bedroom area, so effectively it’s slightly longer to one side if you don’t take the roof elevation into account as that balances it beautifully. The design means that this model lends itself really well to a good outdoor patio or decking area, bringing the outside in in fair weather and extending the living area even further. Long strip windows let masses of light in, so you also know this is going to work well at any time of year, and from the outside it really looks far pricier than it is.
