We turn the spotlight on an exclusive new development of park homes for the over 50s in East Sussex
A former camping site that will be transformed into a luxury residential park home estate is currently offering plots on its new development.
Woodland View, in Horam, East Sussex, is set to be developed into 20 over 50s residential park homes.
Situated on the edge of town in a stunning village location, Woodland View will offer residents lots of amenities all within a few minutes’ walk.
These include a bus stop, vets, GPs, two golf courses, hairdresser’s, Co-op, petrol station, fish and chip shop, butcher’s, baker’s and multiple coffee shops.
The park sits on just over four acres of land and is extremely picturesque and is close to the nearby Cuckoo Trail.
The Trail is a pleasant 12-mile trail that runs from Heathfield to Polegate. Horam is a village in the Wealden District of East Sussex, situated three miles south of Heathfield, five miles from Hailsham and 12 miles from Eastbourne.
The park owners Mr and Mrs Smith owned the site for more than eight years and still live there – this will continue after they have developed the site, ensuring residents get the personal touch.
The new development work begins on 1 September 2019. Deposits are now being taken to secure residential park homes and plots. The first mobile home will be available to view in March 2020. All homes will offer comfortable and spacious accommodation with mains gas, electricity, main sewer and easy parking alongside every home and each home comes with a small garden shed.
Plots will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis and a non-refundable deposit will be required.
The plot sizes vary, but each will be very spacious with a laid lawn, allowing every new owner to create their own garden.
The Smiths offer state-of-the-art new homes from leading manufacturers Omar (pictured right) and Stately-Albion. Prices will start from £249,999. Viewing is strictly by appointment only.
Mr and Mrs Smith also own Kings Head Park, in Shropshire, where they have been owners for more than 20 years.
