North Wales holiday park

Savills, on behalf of a private vendor, has sold Brynteg Holiday Park in North Wales to Park Leisure for circa £11.5 million.

The property extends to 48 acres (19 hectare) and is set within a secluded woodland on the outskirts of the village of Llanrug in Gwynedd. With a site license for over 300 static holiday caravans, the site also includes a club complex with swimming pool and spa, lake bar, children’s playgrounds, nine-hole golf course and fishing lake.

Robert Gale-Hasleham, director of leisure and trading at Savills, comments: ‘The picturesque setting of Brynteg and five star rating made this a very attractive asset. We’re delighted to have placed the placed the property with this suitable purchaser in an off-market transaction on behalf of our client.

‘We continue to see the holiday park market perform strongly with operators such as Park Leisure expanding.’

Savills sold 25 caravan parks in 2015, totaling over £60 million and during Q1 of this year the firm has acted on £14.125 million worth of sales of five parks.
