Sustainability award

Most companies in our sector are ahead of the curve on sustainability. After all, if your business works in or on parks, you’re more likely than most to have an affinity with the natural world. Many manufacturers, as well as suppliers and service providers including decking, verandah and refurb specialists, will only use best and most sustainable materials in construction. That’s before we get onto solar panels, air source heat pumps and the other energy-saving measures out there. Then there are the parks who regularly collect David Bellamy Conservation Awards and other ‘eco’ accolades for working with, rather than against, the natural world they are a part of. Be it a wildflower meadow, a bug hotel or space for veg and herb gardens, it all adds up! Nominate the company, team or individual that helps achieve any/ all of the above!

 

Customer service award

The levels of service found in our sector are second to none. As a rule, you can expect warm and friendly help from experts in their fields – many of whom go above and beyond for their customers. Nominate the park, manufacturer, insurer, refurbishment team, finance company, dealership, surveyor, solicitor, transportation firm or one of the many other specialists who provide top levels of customer service!

 

Industry innovator of the year

This category is sure to be hotly contested as the park home industry is such an innovative, creative and resourceful one. Whether it’s a company that has helped make your life easier, a home design or construction material that’s light years ahead of the rest or something that’s raised industry standards, we’re sure we’ll be inundated with nominations!

There are plenty of possible examples that come to mind including technology to create flood adaptive homes, parks full of floating lodges, interesting, quirky or future-proofed home designs and more!

 

But it’s not just the manufacturers who are innovating. There are also parks who have added such things as EV chargers and super-fast wi-fi for their residents, as well as companies using AI to help customers in a myriad of different ways, while our sponsor Quickmove has also recently launched an app to make life easier for prospective buyers in their park home searches.

 

The Helping Hands award

Park homes and park sites are often great places to enjoy retirement or semi-retirement, especially when mobility issues start to become more of a concern. Who goes the extra mile to make this lifestyle more comfortable for those getting older? There are the pioneering manufacturers with visionary designs that can be custom-built or adapted to suit every need.

 

Then there are individuals or park home teams – it could be the generous site owner or park warden who organises a minibus to take older and infirm residents to the shops or park socials; it could be a refurb outfit who’s really good at sensitively handling improvement jobs for their most vulnerable customers; it could be a hard-working, ‘can-do’ maintenance guy; or simply the cheerful office admin who welcomes a natter with residents and is always ready with a brew.
