Europe’s oldest park and leisure home manufacturer has announced the appointment of a key new member of its sales team.

Stately-Albion, which is based in Abercarn, near Newport, recruited Ray Currie from Pathfinder Homes on 12 September 2016.

Mr Currie will become the manufacturer’s first key accounts executive for Scotland and northern England.

Stately-Albion already has a strong business presence in the north of the country, particularly in Scotland, but this has grown to such an extent that a dedicated person for the area is now required.

Mr Currie’s principal duties will be to service existing, loyal residential park customers that the company has in the north.

This will include developing sales specifications and supporting on after-sales for the parks.

Mr Currie told PH&HC, ‘I’ll also be looking to expand our customer base within the residential sector as well as having a major focus on the leisure market where I have most experience and knowledge.

Mr Currie told PH&HC, ‘I’ll also be looking to expand our customer base within the residential sector as well as having a major focus on the leisure market where I have most experience and knowledge.

‘This will involve developing exciting new leisure models in the Stately-Albion range and promoting them in the market by attending new shows and events that we haven’t done before throughout 2017/2018.’

Mr Currie’s new role dovetails neatly with the investment that Stately-Albion is making, with an extra production facility coming on-stream to support and expand on what the company is already doing.

Mr Currie added, ‘I’m excited to be joining Europe’s oldest manufacturer of park homes, a family owned business which is well respected within the industry and is customer focused on providing quality, design, choice and value for money.’

Mr Currie has worked in the mobile home industry for 14 years, having successfully discharged sales positions in the north of the country for Cosalt, Wessex and Pathfinder.
