Haven has acquired Holivans Caravan Park, in Lincolnshire, as part of the extension plans for its Golden Sands Holiday Park. We learn more…

The Holivans Caravan Park is now under the ownership of Haven, one of UK’s leading holiday park operators, following a deal facilitated by the parks team at Colliers.
Situated adjacent to the Golden Sands Holiday Park, amid the breathtaking landscapes and sandy beaches of Lincolnshire, Holivans already offers a diverse range of accommodation options, including privately-owned holiday caravans, hire fleet caravans, as well as some touring caravan pitches.

‘Hugely rewarding’
The Rowland Family sold Holivans through commercial real estate firm, Colliers. They said: ‘With more than 70 years of history, it’s been hugely rewarding to see the business grow through changing times and be a part of Lincolnshire’s fantastic tourism industry.
‘The business has been our life and it is with great sadness but fond memories that we say goodbye. A sincere and heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our customers, past and present, who have been part of our wonderful Holivans community throughout the years. We are confident that the Haven team will guide Holivans in this new chapter and the park will continue to be a place for families to make lifelong memories.’
Holivans is strategicly located close to nearby towns Skegness, Louth and Lincoln.

Lewis Zinzan, general manager at Golden Sands, said: ‘We are thrilled to welcome the Holivans team, holidaymakers and holiday home owners to Haven’s Golden Sands Holiday Park. Like Holivans, we are passionate about providing lifelong memories for our guests and are looking forward to delivering amazing holiday experiences with an even bigger and better park for all to enjoy.’

One of three
Golden Sands is one of three Haven holiday parks on the Lincolnshire coast, has seen an overall investment of £10m in recent years. The park already benefits from a wide range of activity choices including the popular Adventure Village, a high-adrenaline outdoor hub and NERF Training Camp – a new activity for 2024.
Robert Smithson, associate director in the parks team at Colliers, handled the sale.

He commented: ‘It’s great to have been part of this deal, ensuring that this beloved park continues on and is brought under Haven’s stewardship. With the firm’s expertise and commitment to exceptional guest experiences, we’re confident that the new combined park will thrive as a premier holiday destination.’
Wilkin Chapman LLP in Beverley acted for the Rowland Family during the sale.
