Park Home Assist Insurance Services has won two national insurance industry awards. The Northamptonshire-based company, which specialises in insurance for park homes, leisure homes and holiday homes, won the ‘Customer Care Award’ and the ‘Personal Lines Broker of the Year Award’ at the British Insurance Industry Awards. The awards represent excellence, innovation and success and are open to all insurance companies and brokers in the UK. Park Home Assist was judged against some of the giants in the insurance industry and was presented with the awards at a glittering ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.

Before presenting the ‘Personal Lines Broker of the Year Award’, representatives of the British Insurance Awards said: ‘Five worthy candidates, but only one winner! The winner is a company that puts its customers first, therefore enhancing long-term customer loyalty, sometimes at the cost of short-term profit.’ And before presenting the ‘Customer Care Award’, they said: ‘Top prize goes to a company whose culture and training starts from the ground floor of the organisation, where staff are trained to speak to their customers as if they are speaking to their parents or grandparents.’

Park Home Assist specialises in insurance for park homes, which are often owned by the elderly and vulnerable. In the wake of the pandemic, the firm went above and beyond to show it cares.

Steve and Claire Leech, who founded Park Home Assist Insurance Services in 2005, collected the awards on behalf of the whole team, who are based in the firm’s Northampton office. Steve said: “We couldn’t believe it when they announced our name… twice! This could only be achieved by the team we employ, and the support of our fellow partners and suppliers.

‘It is rare to win an award, and even more rare to win two on the night, but to win two awards which recognise the contribution of every employee, partner and supplier, and that everyone played their part is priceless. We are very grateful.’
