One of the UK’s leading holiday park operators, Park Leisure, has just appointed a new company sales director as it embarks on a period of renewed growth. Christian Tyldesley joins the business from Bourne Leisure and replaces Phil Burton, who steps down after almost 19 years with the business.

Mr Tyldesley brings more than 22 years’ expertise in the holiday home sector and joins Park Leisure at a pivotal time, as the business looks to the next phase of growth. This will feature the enhancement of its existing five-star parks and also expansion plans for acquiring new parks in five-star locations.

Speaking on the appointment, Mr Tyldesley said: ‘Park Leisure is an incredible, fast-growing business with big ambition. The company’s ethos of reinvestment into its parks, ensuring holiday home owners enjoy the very best five-star experience, is one that resonates strongly with me and I’m delighted to join the team.’

Park Leisure chief executive Miles Dewhurst added: ‘Christian is highly regarded as one of the best sales professionals in the industry.
‘We’re thrilled to welcome him to the Park Leisure team, as we enter our next phase of growth, and are confident of the contribution he will make to the business’s ongoing success.’

Park Leisure operates ten parks in stunning settings, including Northumberland, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, Herefordshire, North Wales and Cornwall.
