We know that park home residents love their gardens – you only have to look around the UK’s best sites to see the spectacular array of colours, styles and special features. That’s no surprise as, choosing to live amid nature, ‘park home people’ have an innate appreciation for well-maintained outside spaces. Park home dwellers also tend to be on the older end of the age spectrum – and if you’re semi-retired or retired, what better way to spend your days than lovingly tending your prized plot?
Many parks and park groups hold annual gardening competitions so we thought we’d take things one step further and launch a nationwide UK Park Home Garden of the Year award!
So, whether you’re park home garden’s awash with vibrant borders, pots and hanging baskets or a low-maintenance masterpiece with eye-catching original features, we want to hear from you!
Send us your great garden pics – up to a maximum of three per submission, along with a brief description of what’s in the photos of your garden and what makes it special. We’d love to hear the backstory of how your unique garden creation came to fruition too – how long it took to cultivate, what features you’ve added, and how much effort goes into making it special!
