Main entrance
This is on the side, under the cross gable, and is slightly recessed to form an integral porch. The door features three horizontal glazed panels and gives access to a hall where a door on the right leads into the study with a walk-through on the left into the lounge.
A window feature on this side wall, letting some of the light from the very bright lounge into the hall. Straight ahead is a cloaks cupboard with hooks on the back wall.
Lounge
Occupying half of the width of the home, and forming an L-shape with the dining area, this is a spacious room. The pictures on these pages show the lounge and dining area as being uncarpeted, but we understand this was at the request of the park on which this particular home was going to be sited. The standard floorcovering is sandstone hessian backed carpet with underlay throughout.
The front windows are fitted with vertical blinds in a brown textured finish while the windows on both side walls have mink-coloured lined curtains which hang to floor level with tie-backs.
Lounge seating is very contemporary with Cadiz style contrasting abstract chairs and an impala sofa, all in light mocha shades with contrasting velvet scatter cushions. A square coffee table is provided.
