We’ve got some exciting news about managerial appointments at one of the UK’s most respected manufacturers, Pathfinder Homes…

A Devon-based park home and leisure lodge manufacturer is set for an exciting new chapter. Pathfinder Homes, an iconic name in park and leisure home manufacturing, has brought back its original team to resume its mission of delivering luxury, quality, and innovation.

Under the leadership of founder Mike Wills, Pathfinder is set to become stronger than ever, supported by a dynamic ownership team committed to keeping the company at the forefront of the industry.

Pathfinder’s renaissance
Industry legend Mike Wills returns as part owner, joined by his son Oscar Wills, who steps into the role of managing director.
Oscar brings fresh passion and forward-thinking to the business, driving Pathfinder into an exciting future. The father-and-son pairing are joined by industry experts Reggie Wharton (operations director) and Steve Hoare (managing director) – both of whom now serve as part-owners. With many years of experience between them, Reggie and Steve offer unparalleled expertise and a shared vision for innovation and quality.

Together, this accomplished team brings a blend of experience, energy and dedication that promises a bright new chapter in Pathfinder’s journey.

New beginnings
From day one, the team has set in motion several significant improvements to operations and design, looking to elevate Pathfinder’s standards in every way possible. Pathfinder’s rebranding journey includes a strategic collaboration with an external media firm, leading to the launch of an all-new website in January 2025.

This website promises a seamless and immersive user experience, featuring a refined line-up of core models and an elegant new look that reflects Pathfinder’s enduring commitment to luxury and quality.

Harrogate highlights
Pathfinder’s fresh direction has already wowed industry insiders and customers alike. At the Great Holiday Home Show, in Harrogate in September 2024, Pathfinder introduced The High View lodge (pictured below), which quickly became a show highlight. With its thoughtfully designed floorplan, spacious interiors, and sophisticated finishes, the High View is a perfect reflection of Pathfinder’s dedication to blending timeless elegance with modern comfort.

The excitement didn’t stop there. Pathfinder also showcased three standout models at The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show in June, including the Merley (pictured above), created in collaboration with Merley Court, in Somerset. This model pushes boundaries with its modern flat-wall design, bespoke glazing, and sophisticated feature lighting, challenging traditional park home aesthetics. Alongside The Loft and The Astbury, these models embody Pathfinder’s innovative approach to park home design.

‘Driving forward’
New MD Oscar Wills said: “Our team is dedicated to driving Pathfinder forward with a blend of heritage and innovation.
“The potential for our upcoming designs and projects is huge, and we can’t wait to share them with our customers and industry partners.”
