A luxury lodge with Italian-inspired décor, the new Casa di Lusso offers more than a dash of chic, and a luxuriously tempting option for those wanting to feel that continental vibe without having to step onto an aeroplane to enjoy it.

Translating from the Italian as ‘house of luxury’, the Casa Di Lusso is the shape of holiday living in the future, says Prestige Homeseeker’s Silvano Geranio. ‘Nobody should have to sacrifice home comforts when they go away on holiday.

‘Early feedback from our holiday park customers has been absolutely amazing with fantastic praise given for the lodge’s stylish looks and high-quality build.

He added: ‘We suspect that many people in the future will prefer to stay in the UK for their holidays, and a lot of those will be looking for the type of memorable experiences they enjoyed abroad.

We completely agree with that sentiment! The new Casa Di Lusso is certainly going to have huge appeal as an option to rent or buy on many British holiday parks.

The original version was first launched at London’s Ideal Home Show, and the 2020 edition is now available to view by appointment at Prestige Homeseeker’s outdoor showground in Rushden, Northamptonshire, or online via a virtual tour on the company’s website. The original thinking behind the lodge was to blend practical living with luxurious elegance, with a little indulgence added for good measure, and that hasn’t changed.

External appearance

There are a number of sizes and cladding options available, and all will have considerable ‘wow factor’. The roof is unusual and split-level, with one side tucking under the other, and Casas are also easily identifiable by their ‘portholes’ to one side and another at the back.

There’s a 400mm overhang at either end, and lights are mounted on the underside for atmosphere in addition to the porch lights either side of the side entrance. Cathedral windows to the front elevation let light flood into the living area and add grandeur, and the contrasting black trim adds impact on this example against the light CanExel cladding.

The Casa Di Lusso’s striking external appearance immediately sets it apart from conventional holiday homes, and that theme is continued once inside.

Accommodation and layout
Up to four bedrooms can be specified in the Casa Di Lusso, including one guaranteed to get the thumbs-up from youngsters with its cabin-style bunk beds. There’s an open plan living area, separated from the side entrance by a feature partition wall in whitewashed, rough-sawn wood. Moving through to the inner hallway and there’s a family bathroom, master bedroom with spacious en suite shower room, a children’s room accommodating three with a bunk bed arrangement for two of those beds, and a further twin bedroom. This is a very spacious lodge that’s perfect for families.
