What is your favourite thing about owning a park home or lodge?

‘The job is not done’

‘The job is not done’Following the adjournment debate, Sonia McColl (pictured), founder of the Park Home Owners’ Justice Campaign (PHOJC), said that she was not pleased that both the Minister, Kris Hopkins MP, and Peter Aldous MP appeared to suggest that any review of the 10 per cent commission charge should not be considered until after the Mobile Homes Act 2013 has been given time to ‘bed in’.

Sonia believes that statement is without merit as the Mobile Homes Act 2013 has nothing to do with the commission charge. Furthermore, she feels sure that the 30,000 park home owners who signed her petition about commission, and her own MP Annette Brooke OBE (who called the adjournment debate) agree that it is ‘time to ramp things up’.
Sonia has drafted a letter which she is asking residents to copy, sign and send to their constituency MPs. The letter is also on the Justice Campaign’s website at

The Justice Campaign’s London event, which was mentioned by Annette Brooke during the adjournment debate, will take place on Wednesday, 2 July and will start at 12.30pm with a rally at Westminster, followed by the presentation of the petition to No. 10 Downing Street at 2pm. Then there will be a march back to Westminster and a meeting in a committee room at the Palace of Westminster (chaired by Annette Brooke, MP) from 4pm to 5.30pm.
