Berkeleyparks has announced the acquisition of four residential park home estates in the north of England. This takes the total number of parks under its auspices to 50 in 21 counties of England and Wales.

Cliff Top Park, in Garforth, near Leeds, overlooks some of West Yorkshire’s most beautiful landscapes.

This lovely retirement park (50+) is just 15 minutes from Leeds city centre. There are good local facilities at nearby Garforth.

Hill Tree Park, at Crossland Hill, near Huddersfield, is a quiet retreat with wonderful views of the Pennine Chain as far as the eye can see. This retirement park (50+) is just outside Huddersfield with a regular bus service into town.

Palm Grove Court Park, in Thorne, near Doncaster, is a well planned urban retirement park yet in a lovely rural environment. It is just a half an hour’s drive to Derbyshire’s magnificent Peak District via good road links. There is also excellent access to the bustling market town of Thorne near Doncaster.

West Shore Park, at Walney Island, in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (telephone 01229 472195) is a large retirement park (50+) spectacularly set on the shores of the Irish Sea. All the facilities of Barrow-in-Furness and the beauty of the Lake District are close by. Paul Tarr, Berkeleyparks’ sales and marketing director, said, ‘For some time we have been looking to strengthen our presence in the North of England. We had been in discussion with the previous owners of this group of parks since late 2013 and we were delighted to recently complete our purchase and welcome approximately 1,000 new residents to Berkeleyparks.’
